Web designer

Brightfox is currently seeking a Creative Designer to lead our award-winning web-design team; managing projects and liaising with clients.

Developing websites for clients in Australia and around the world, you will be mixing it with the best! We are looking for an individual with outstanding design skills who can continue to design and build websites that win awards and recognition around the world. High levels of professionalism and the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks concurrently will be necessary.  

Skills Required

• Photshop
• HTML
• CSS
• Flash AS2 (AS3 is desirable but not mandatory)
• HTML

• Exposure to javascript, ASP and .NET is highly desirable

Applicants must have;

• Minimum 3 years experience
• High level of personal motivation and initiative
• Ability to be pro-active, creative and innovative, whilst remaining business focused
• Attention to detail in producing robust, quality, well-documented systems
• Friendly and customer orientated
• Experience working with data driven Flash

Tech Lead

Brightfox is committed to becoming one of the world's leading developers of software and services for the property industry.  We are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead our technical team and continue developing our core technical architecture.

You will be responsible for managing both development and maintenance of our leading CRM/ERP software applications and our underlying technical framework, all utilising .Net and MSQL technologies.  

We are a fast growing company with offices in Brisbane and Dubai, UAE.  We constantly strive to improve everything we do, from development methodologies to the way we, and our Certified Partners, support our customers. 

We have a flat management structure, so you will be driving the key architectural and development decisions in our business in conjunction with the Managing Director and other senior technical staff, enabling you to make a real difference to our business, and to the businesses of our customers.   As our Technical Lead you will deliver solutions to meet the needs of customers, both internal and external, using the best and most cost effective methods.  

This role will require you to:

• Continue to develop our framework and core technical architecture
• Work with the Managing Director and our customers to prepare new feature requirement specifications for our software applications
• Delegate programming and support tasks to team members
• Provide technical direction on the architecture of Brightfox software products
• Research new technologies and explore how to best implement them into our business and applications
• Supervise and guide developers on application development, including regular code reviews
• Supervise our support team on resolving support tasks relating to our products
• Maintain Source Code control, installer control, Software Resource control
• Manage testing environment
• Manage releases and minimise bugs.

To be successful in this role you will require experience with the following:

• VB.NET/ASP.NET/C#
• SOAP/.Net Web Services
• T-SQL/MSSQL/Enterprise Manager
• n-tier architecture
• object orientated programming
